"Education is viewed as the pathway to create a better world for citizens of the future. It is my intention that future citizens may experience an enhanced consciousness that life offers as I have experienced the joys of consciousness in the present. I have chosen to endow my life accumulations to university research giving my life meaning and purpose. Education is my belief, my faith, my hope for the future of mankind."

George decided the best way for him to help accomplish these goals, and provide himself with income, was to donate property to a Charitable Remainder Trust. In addition, by making the gift of a rental property George greatly increased his monthly income by fifty percent. After taking a guided tour of the Physical Sciences buildings and learning of UC Santa Cruz's investment policy, George knew his gift will be placed in competent hands.
